OUR WINES

Cardinal Point red wine Find Cardinal Point wines in your area At Cardinal Point, our winemaker, Tim Gorman, is the Vineyard Manager as well. With 24 years of experience growing vitus vinifera vines at Cardinal Point, Tim's expertise as a grower shows up in the quality of his wines.

Tim takes great pains to ripen his fruit to the best quality possible... since he knows he'll be the one paying for any shortcomings in the winery! And although he will tell you that the best wines make themselves, he clearly enjoys expressing his creative side in the cellar, as evidenced by our very popular signature blends.

Red
2014 Rosé
Cabernet Franc based, estate grown with fruit always destined for rosé. Clean and fresh, and just a little sweet. Like Spring in a bottle.

2014 Rockfish Red
This estate grown Cabernet Franc is short-vatted during fermentation to keep the tannin influence low and play up the fruit. This vintage is surprisingly complex and may be the most age-worthy Rock Red yet. Still, enjoy it now and as your summer “go to” red for pairing with burgers, grilled salmon, pizza, and outdoor living.

White
2014 Green
Inspired by the Vinho Verdes of Portugal, this wine is made by co-fermenting Chardonnay and Petit Manseng. The results are pretty incredible, rivaling Sauvignon blanc. This vintage features more mouthfeel, more tropical aroma. The wine is bottled as close to harvest as possible to lock in the fresh flavor of the vineyard. Serve slightly chilled.

2014 Chardonnay
100% estate grown Chardonnay, barreled in French oak, this wine boasts sweetness derived from the wood of the older barrels. The wine is rich and complex, and will boost the satisfaction of many summer dishes, from seafood to salads.

2014 IPC Hopped Chardonnay
The IPC (short for India Pale Chardonnay), has a pleasing, herbal, lemon-grassy, tropical nose, mostly from the hop influence. The mid-palate is fresh and light, finishing crisp with an agreeable bitterness and tang again from the hops. We think pairing with herbed pan-fried river trout would be sublime.
