Begun in 1975 by an industrious group of grape-growing individuals calling themselves the Virginia Wine Growers Association, the festival began as a way to introduce and educate the populace about the merits of Virginia wine. Since those early beginnings, Virginia has grown in stature to become the 5th state in US wine production, and the Virginia Wine Festival has grown to become the #1 tasting event in Virginia-featuring over 400 varieties of wine, paired with gourmet food offerings, a juried arts show, and unbeatable musical entertainment.

Visit our booth at Town Point Wine Festival! Join us along the Downtown Norfolk waterfront for one of the state's largest outdoor wine festivals featuring more than 30 Virginia wineries providing a sampling of wines available for purchase by the glass, bottle or case. Also enjoy gourmet, made-in-Virginia food items, specialty crafts, and live musical entertainment.
